the weekend's here, good god almighty

instead of studying for my psych test this afternoon, i've spent the last hour sitting in the caf. i actually read the entire school newspaper, which is a big feat for me (i'm usually not a fan - the weekly sucks compared to a lot of other college papers in the state).

side note: i can hear adam laughing from the other side of the caf. impressive, considering i'm near the windows by the tv, and he's way over by the marketplace doors - a distance of about 100 yards, i'd say.

went to richard's last night for drinks with andrea, and then to the boys' apartment because chris is visiting. he went abroad to london this semester and just got back, so he's spending the week here before he jets off to seattle on tuesday for a summer internship at boeing. dang. hopefully they'll offer him a job after he graduates next year (he's a junior) and then when i do my seattle rotation we can be roomies. totally his idea, by the way, and that would be uber-exciting. he gets done august 8 and will likely live at my house for a week before he heads back early to gustavus and i move all my shit to milwaukee.

oh yeah, that's right, i took the job at QG :)

i stayed at the apt. until about 2:30 am, which ended up being a mistake because i should have been studying for this test i have at 3:00. the prof emailed us our grades yesterday, though, and i happen to have a 96%, so i guess i don't have to worry toooo much :) it's general psych...how bad could it be?

in other news, i have a paper for martin's class due tuesday (10-12 pages) that i haven't started. he emailed all of us yesterday to inform us that he won't be around until monday afternoon, so if we have questions, that's too bad and we should figure out why we didn't start earlier. if he hadn't assigned that dang lit review that no one understood at all, maybe i would have. hopefully my lit review will give me LOTS to expand on...

that's the last assignment in any form remaining until finals. i have one final (psych) and it's on the last day of finals weekend (and the first day of senior week!), so i'm basically going to spend the next few weeks (post-tuesday, anyway) partying it up with my friends. and then senior week - oh man... my roomies and i have assigned ourselves each one adult social beverage option to be featured as the beverage of the day for each day of senior week. i quacked strip-n-gos for the wednesday of senior week...and the boat/booze cruise is also that night. that entire week is going to be one big shitshow. i - can't - wait.

and it's friday. finally. if the weather was nicer, i'd sit out on the deck with a margarita and watch the high school baseball game. but it's not.
