i've got the polyester cap/gown and diploma to prove it, too. other than it being about 90 degrees, today was great. the culmination of four years that went by too fast... i'd go on but that'd be at risk of sounding like the senior address - which by the way was given by a monotone and mildly terrible public speaker.
senior week was, as it should have been, brilliant. oh man. that is all i have to say about it.
now that i'm home, i can look around my room and know that it'll take me about a week to unpack and organize everything. i realized tonight that i'll have to pack everything up again in two months, just as if i were going back to school, but instead i'm moving a state away. that sounds so cheesy, but seriously...i don't think the fact that i'm done with gustavus will actually set in or hit me until the fall when we're not starting classes and catching up on what everyone did over the summer.
as for this summer, i'll likely be doing a lot of laying by the pool during the weekdays, going out with friends on the weeknights, and going to poppy's cabin on the weekends. maybe some babysitting, some work days at arkco, but otherwise my focus is on living it up with everyone as much as possible before i leave.
and working on my tan, of course :)

Congratulations! :) Your summer sounds enviably fabulous. Summer just passed me by here, and it's raining elephants again.
It does sound like a great summer plan- that's great that you know what you're doing at the end of it too - I'm still struggling to find somewhere to work in Paris... quel horreur!
