i took the kids to see "kung fu panda" this afternoon to break up the cabin fever we were all experiencing. the kids loved it - i thought it was decent. with jack black as the main voice, it was obviously funny. lots of big names were character voices - angelina jolie, dustin hoffman, etc. then nelson got really excited because he found a subway coupon in his raincoat pocket and begged me to take them there for lunch. being the fun, cool babysitter that i am, i did - and i let them get soda (caffeine!! the horror!!) and cookies.... hopefully they won't tell their mom ;)
i'm also taking a POLL to figure out which car i should get. i've been test driving all week, and these are my top four - based on many, many factors. feel free to leave me your opinion - at this point i just need to make a decision!
mazda 3 ....... volkswagen jetta ....... honda civic ....... toyota corolla

Sorry don't know about cars, but very jealous you're getting one! And also slightly relieved to hear that the weather is crazy everywhere, not just rainy old Paris and London! x M

as for the car dilema, I've had friends very happy with the corolla and jetta, and personally i just like the way the word 'mazda' sounds! :P
