can't keep my hands from shaking

it's raining. thank you yet AGAIN, minnesota, for teasing us with a gorgeous day and then proceeding to thunderstorm all over nicollet county.

i was going to write a long post today, but i'm not in the mood. instead, here's some fun stuff to do:

a new list of songs you should all check out! let me know what you think of them.

"say it again" - marie digby this is totally something i would blast on the outdoor speakers by my pool at home. her album unfold also has a slow acoustic-y version of rhianna's "umbrella" - which sounds pretty cool that way.

"true love" - angels & airwaves i haven't really listened to them since their first album, but i'm definitely getting back into the mood now. they're kind of electronic and punk and ballad-y at the same time. the best song off their first album is probably "the adventure." and for those of you who don't know, the lead singer is tom from the former blink-182.

"it's only life" - kate voegele one of her other songs was on the hills and another show i can't remember, but i like this one better.

"best i'll ever be" - sister hazel definitely a top-10 band for me, and although this song is on an older album of theirs (okay, maybe 2003 isn't that old...), it's one of those that when it comes up on my itunes shuffle, i don't skip it.


and now, a YouTube video...Akon Calls T-Pain...i about died watching it - so ridiculous.
