keep those drinks a-comin'... maybe we'll get what we deserve

it's been a few days, my fault, so here's a recap.

wednesday was the last day of classes (EVER...) and the zoo's annual tippy cup tournament.

50 teams of 5 people each + 15 kegs + themes/costumes + bountiful sunshine = one hell of a good time.

we went as "mattel recalls," aka barbies that didn't quite make it to the stores. redneck barbie, mile high club barbie, cancun spring break barbie, walk of shame barbie, plastic surgery barbie, and drug dealer barbie. other teams included power rangers, smurfs, american gladiators, the e/m department professors, etc.

yesterday was reading day - aka a day of doing absolutely nothing. my mom and brother moved out all my big stuff - so my room currently consists of a mattress for a bed, a tv and vcr/dvd player, and clothes. it's pretty sad.

i have one real final - monday at 3:30. general psych.
i have one take-home final - due monday at 5. market research. as if our presentation wasn't enough, we have to type 4 pages (let's be real, everyone will probably turn in about 1.5) about how our project demonstrates the characteristics of market research. considering we haven't used our textbook since about february...this should be interesting.

because those are both on monday, however, today will basically consist of laying outside in the sunshine. and finally buying a kiddie pool. tanning until 2:30, kato for shopping and possibly dinner. love love love.

Listening: "Lookin' for a Good Time" - Lady Antebellum. Everyone's excited about "love don't live here" - but I'm more of a ::download the whole cd and listen to other songs:: type of girl. This one is really good for blasting with your car windows down and the wind a-blowin'.
Reading: Stolen Innocence - Elissa Wall & Lisa Pulitzer. It's a memoir of Elissa's work with the prosecutors to bring charges and testimony against Warren Jeffs and the FLDS. I'm only twenty pages in, but I'm sucked in and probably won't put it down.
Thinking: How amazing the Basilica Block Party lineup is this year, and about how we'll spend the two days downtown. Hotel room, perhaps?
Feeling: Sluggish - I didn't run yesterday.
How to Annoy Me: Talk on your cell phone while ordering/paying at the cashier.
How to Charm Me: Don't care what anybody else thinks.
