the last four days have been a complete blur. i finally made it back to minneapolis friday night with a job offer on the table (go me!). basically, if i don't get another offer before the 16th, this is it. i decided during my airport waiting stints that it's way better than i thought, and now i really don't mind the whole moving aspect. i did it all the time growing up, so this shouldn't really be any different. i only have to spent 3 months in wisconsin, and then i can do up to four or five 6-month rotations in any of their offices around the country. read: boston, new york city, miami, denver, seattle, los angeles, anaheim, dallas, chicago, minneapolis, washington d.c., etc etc etc etc etc etc. pretty stellar opportunities there.
anyways, so i made it to the mall around 8. mom and i both ate our weights in food at california cafe at MOA, and i struggled to stay awake after the gigundo martini already waiting for me when i arrived (thanks mom..haha).
when mom and i got home, i was so tempted to just crash, but i really wanted to see jenny and allie, so i went to j's house anyway. we attempted to watch a movie but kept falling asleep for short periods of time. got home at 2 am, slept until 1:30 pm, and drove back to campus right away.
last night was the high school's post-prom party, and guess who got to chaperone? that's right, this girl right here. it was beyond sweet - john and i were first in charge of the golf game, then he and holly and i rotated between that and the guitar hero tournament. there was also a hypnotist and some amazing raffle prizes - wiis, digital cameras, a laptop, ipods, $100 visa cards, etc etc etc. so after the two horrendous travel days and lack of sleep, i then was awake midnight to 4:00 am. got home this morning, slept until 7:30, and went off to help set up special olympics, which is going on all day today.
i am now going back to bed until my meeting at 3:30. SO tired.

I wish my high school would have hosted a prom afterparty when I went there. That would have been super fun. Congrats on the job offer! That's so cool that you'll be traveling! But, since it's only for six months at a time, definitely start to downsize what you have, so moving will be easier!!
