so...that paper i mentioned before

well, it's a bitch.

my entire class is in the library, each of us holed up in a little corner trying to bust this thing out before 8:00 tomorrow morning. i'm on page 7, but i have to get to 9 before the library closes in two hours. that sounds like an easy task... but it has taken me and the rest of my classmates almost two weeks to get this far. we have spent the last four class periods (2 hours each) asking questions and trying to get a better grasp of what exactly we are supposed to do.

that professor i mentioned before? the love/hate thing? this is not a loving time. he went on and on about how we "pay in excess of $35k to attend this institution in order to have access to resources like [him] to ask questions, and then all [we] do is whine and complain when [we] don't understand something." for someone who has spent time in his office asking questions this semester, that pissed me off royally. BLEGH.

on another note, some of my classmates (who also have a group presentation for that class tomorrow) went into his office today to discuss their project, and they were pleased to report that he actually felt vulnerable. he said he was afraid they were coming to yell at him about the paper and that he has decided to not grade it. when they told him they were actually there to discuss the presentation, he let out a large sigh of relief and told them to inform the rest of us that there will indeed be no grade for this paper, BUT don't make it CRAP!

which is why i am still here in the library. it might not be graded, but it still has to get to 9 pages. good lord.

this has already taken too much time away from my stupid assignment. back to it.
