s-a-t-u-r-d-a-y

well, we figured out what size kiddie pool we need/want. on our trip to wally-world, we walked to the outdoor sporting goods section and i asked one of the four nail-chewing dying-of-boredom guys behind the gun counter if they had any pools. the only one who actually responded (i think his name was eric) informed me that they had a select few in the back but would be getting more. we asked him if we could see the ones they had.

lo and behold, 10 minutes later they wheeled out 3 pools on a flatbed cart. one had a slide (negative), one was about 3 feet wide (negative), but we decided we liked the blue one that was 5-6 feet wide with no slide/steps/etc. for $11.88, what more could you want?

we then realized it wouldn't fit in katelyn's car, so we decided to wait to buy it when we could bring a larger vehicle.

in other news, abc family is playing 'the cutting edge' and all its sequels today. the third installment - 'the cutting edge: chasing the dream' is on right now. i caught the last few minutes of the second one. they're both terrible. honestly...if you're going to make a movie sequel, don't make them the exact same story with different people. and don't hire terrible actors to play the roles. all that does is show people that anyone can be in a movie, regardless of their (lack of) talent. blegghh.

AND - chris is home from his semester abroad in foggy london town and is spending the weekend here. big welcome-back party at the boys' apartment tonight, which should be a blast. i have to remember to stop at the gas station and pick him up a bottle of mello yello...

man this movie sucks. time to grab dinner and watch 'friends'.
